Our Baby Cafe on a Thursday morning is certainly proving a popular place, so much so we’ve now introduced a regular slot where we’ll bring in other baby relevant businesses to chat to us about all things baby related as well as maybe host an activity taster session. We kicked this off last week with great success!
Baby signing helps babies to communicate their needs while learning new words, and parents and carers to understand them. Which can’t be a bad thing! That’s why we were delighted to have Natalie Bell from Tiny Talk come to Baby Cafe this week to explain a little bit more and give us a taster of one of her classes. In a busy room, Natalie delivered an introduction, songs and a story to about ten mums and babies of differing ages, incorporating some useful and easy to remember signs. It was a very interactive class with percussion instruments and some moving around to keep little ones stimulated. Natalie explained she also usually incorporates a sensory element to her classes which children seem to love. It seemed like a really valuable and fun class and our babies looked like they were enjoying it.
Natalie is running a new class on Wednesdays at 9.30 at Energi and invites our mums to attend a Halloween Special taster session, in fancy dress or not, but with a prize for the best dressed-up baby.
