This term, we’re delighted that York Baby Sensory will be joining us on Thursday 22nd March at Baby Cafe for a little taster session.
If you haven’t yet experienced a class, Baby Sensory use different activities led by en experienced instructor to stimulate development of babies from birth. Using different textures, sounds, songs, instruments and visual stimulation, babies focus on the stimulating environment which in turn helps with their learning and development.
As usual, tea, coffee, cake and chat supplied.
Also, from 22nd March you will be able to weigh your baby at Baby Cafe. With the help of Upper Poppleton Parish Council who kindly funded the purchase, Baby Cafe now incorporates baby weighing scales to enable parents to weigh their newborns in the village. These will now be available to all parents using the Cafe between 9am and 11.30am, every Thursday term time, where you can also catch up with friends and enjoy a cake break.
Facilities for weighing and measuring are, as always, offered at Hob Moor Children’s Centre. If you have any concerns or anxieties regarding your baby, we recommend that you contact the Duty Health Visitor. Staff at Poppleton Under 5’s have not been specifically trained and cannot advise you on your baby’s health.
