We are busy getting ready for the start of the new academic year and are looking forward to welcoming back all of our children!
Our exciting news is that even though you will be returning to the same lovely indoor and outdoor space, with the same fun and educational activities, provided by the same caring and nurturing staff, as of 1 September 2024 Poppleton Under Fives will be a CIO (charitable incorporated organisation).
So what does this mean for our parents? Well, only that the volunteers who manage the organisation through the committee are now more protected as individuals, because the liabilities of the charity stay with the CIO rather than being held by the committee.
Which is good news for all those able to help Poppleton Under Fives keep running!
